After the euphoria of being promoted to Manager of Credit and Collection had lessened, I realized I was unprepared for the responsibility it entailed.
I needed help. That help was acquired when I found a plaque in a file drawer that said my company was a member of NACM.
There is where I found seminars, classes, conferences, group meetings and answers to the many questions concerning best practices, legal requirements, technical advancements and collection techniques. It was all there for me with one telephone call.
NACM Gateway Region has been the rock upon which I have, with the support of my company, built my career in credit and collection. I shall always be grateful.
