WHAT
IS NACM?
|
| NACM
Gateway Region is a professional business credit organization
founded in 1896. Our mission is to promote the principles and ideals of
sound and responsible professional business credit management through high
quality cost effective educational programs and services provided to our
members and the business community at large. We represent business credit
grantors in many industries - including manufacturing, wholesaling, the
service industries as well as financial institutions. |
| As
a member-owned association, we exist solely for the purpose of serving and
supporting our members who, in turn, further benefit from our affiliation
with the 25,000+ members of the National Association of Credit Management
representing the business credit community across the country and throughout the world.
|
| Today
nearly every one of the St. Louis headquartered Fortune 500 companies belong
to NACM Gateway Region. This strong base of larger corporations
is enhanced by a range of well respected, small to medium sized companies.
|
| NACM
is the primary source for continuing education focused on the credit professional.
Working with our national organization, (NACM), we offer an accreditation
program developed specifically for the business credit community. Corporations
as far south as Cape Girardeau, as far west as Jefferson City and in southern
Illinois participate in our education and training programs. A well organized
and dedicated legislative affairs committee also keeps the membership informed
on current issues and events at both the state and the national level. |
| By
capitalizing on this high degree of member support and involvement NACM
Gateway Region and NACM National have been successful in building
the foremost professional business credit organization in the United States.
